Erica Padish Hoebing is an attorney at Padish Law Group, PLLC, where she focuses primarily on family, criminal and civil litigation. Erica graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago, School of Law and The University of Arizona. Prior to joining the Padish Law Group, Erica served as Assistant General Counsel for the Sheriff of Cook County, Illinois and as in-house counsel for Benedictine University. Erica has been a member of the Scottsdale Board of Directors for the past 4 years and currently serves as Secretary (past Treasurer, 2022-2023). Erica is also a member of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, Steering Committee and is on the City of Scottsdale Personnel Board. Erica, her husband, Craig, and their two young sons live in Scottsdale. Their “spare time” is devoted to facilitating their boys participation in sports.

Dominique Barrett is a partner in the Scottsdale, Arizona office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Barrett is a trial attorney with over 15 years of litigation experience focused on the defense of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare and long-term care professionals and organizations. Her practice includes the areas of wrongful death, medical malpractice defense, long-term care, products liability, pharmaceuticals, professional liability, automobile accidents, premises liability, dram shop actions and liquor liability defense. Ms. Barrett has extensive first chair jury trial experience. Since commencing her civil practice in 1997, she has litigated over 100 jury trials and arbitrations.

Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Barrett was a partner with a national law firm specializing in healthcare negligence and insurance defense matters. She was a member of the Healthcare Practice Group where she represented healthcare providers and professionals in numerous medical specialties on claims of negligence, alleged elder abuse, and Board Complaints in arbitration, trial and on appeal.

Ms. Barrett received her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1992 and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1988.

Ms. Barrett is licensed to practice law in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. She is a member of the Arizona and New Mexico State Bars and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Ms. Barrett also a member of the Arizona Women Lawyers' Association and is a past member of the Arizona State Bar Committee on Professional Liability. She is an appointed Guardian Ad Litem in the Maricopa County Superior Court, Volunteer Lawyers' Project.

In her community, she served on the board of the American Heart Association and as a team member of Habitat for Humanity.

Colson Franse is an associate at Kutak Rock LLP and practices in the corporate and institutional investments group. Colson is originally from Albuquerque, NM and moved to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Economics. Colson later graduated with a J.D. from Arizona State University. He has had an entrepreneurial spirit since a young age, starting his first business in middle school and inspiring him today to work in the corporate and institutional investments group at Kutak Rock. Colson serves on the Social Committee at Kutak Rock and enjoys planning new events and contributing to the development of firm culture.

Colson and his wife, Kylie, live in Phoenix and enjoy time hiking and camping in Arizona and are proud parents to their Bernedoodle, Huntington. In his free time, Colson enjoys running, pinball, skiing and traveling.

Colson has attended several SBA events, including the SBA 50th Anniversary Celebration, with other Kutak attorneys. Colson is running for a board term to focus efforts on recruiting the next generation of SBA members and contributing new ideas for networking and other events.
